TELLURIDE SKI RESORT
Nestled in a canyon at the foot of the San Juan Mountains
lies the historic and legendary western town of Telluride,
Colorado. Once a favorite hideout for desperadoes like
Butch Cassidy, who robbed his first bank here in 1889, this
beautiful terrain now attracts a much different type -
snowboarders, mountain bikers, alpinists and freestylers.
Today Telluride with its population of only 2200 is home to
the Telluride Ski Resort, which has become an upscale
alternative to Vail and Aspen with several celebrities owning

Visitors to Telluride experience a rich Victorian heritage
along with a variety of activities and recreation. The town is
only six blocks wide and twelve blocks long but it is unique
with its gourmet restaurants, historic buildings, art galleries,
Victorian homes and clapboards storefronts. Everything in
town is within walking distance and the nearest stoplight to
Telluride is 45 miles away.
TELLURIDE MOUNTAIN VILLAGE
Mountain Village, the ultimate mountain retreat is located
on the south side of the ski area at 9,500 feet offering luxury

a championship golf course. From Mountain Village
experience the breathtaking views of the 13,000-foot peaks
of the San Juan Mountains. Mountain Village is the
recreational and social activity center, with sports shops,

Mountain Village are linked by a spectacular 13-minute ride
on the free gondola that provides breathtaking views.
There is no freeway access to Telluride but the drive is
beautiful and well worth it. Whether you decide to drive or fly,
your journey to Telluride offers breathtaking views. Direct
flights into the airport just 10 minutes from town and in-town
transportation are just a few of the conveniences.
The two primary airports that service Telluride are Telluride
(TEX), 5 miles from town and Montrose (MTJ), 1.5 hours
from town. Other regional airports include Grand Junction
(GJT)- 128 miles north and Durango (DRO)-120 miles
southeast, both 2.5 hours away.

The ski area's terrain is divided according to skier
proficiency as 25% beginner, 36% intermediate, and 39%
expert. The highest summit is 12,255 feet. There are 16 lifts
and 80 trails. The longest run is See Forever, which is 3
miles. All the views are spectacular!
