miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon and you'll find
yourself in a whole new world. It is a place of unrivaled
beauty, where rugged rock formations melt into
blankets of pristine powder.
The Mountain Village at Solitude
The long awaited village is now complete, and the
unmistakable ambiance of the European Alps beckons
you to lose yourself down quaint pathways. The Village
at Solitude is a retreat that pampers you with every
modern convenience. It is a village large enough to
accommodate your individual needs, yet small enough
to cater to them. Its cozy shops, fine dining and
comfortable sitting areas echo an era of a simpler time,

Solitude Mountain Statistics
Lifts
8 lifts: 1 High Speed Quad, 1 Fixed Quad, 2 Triple
Chairlifts, and 4 Double Chairlifts. Total Uphill Capacity
is 12,550 skiers per hour.
Season
Early November through late April (conditions
permitting). Solitude Mountain Resort is usually the
first resort to open in Utah!

9:00 am - 4:00 p.m. daily (weather permitting).
Solitude Snowfall/Snow Report
Solitude receives an annual snowfall of 500 inches
(12.5 meters). For current mountain status, check our

Vertical Rise
2,047 feet of continuously skiable terrain. Base
elevation = 7,988 feet. Peak elevation = 10,035 feet.
Trails
64 designated trails and three bowls (over 1,200+
skiable acres) full of terrain for everyone: wide-open
powder bowls, gladed tree runs, steep chutes, and
gentle cruising boulevards. The longest descent is 3.5
miles down Honeycomb Trail.
TIPS FOR SOLITUDE SKI VACATIONS
Get in shape before ski season begins. Such
exercise as mountain biking helps develop the same
muscle groups that we use when we ski and also
improves balance.

tickets in advance at Solitude Ski Resort.
Purchase tickets before January 31. The prices will
increase after that.
Purchase your lift tickets and lodging for Solitude

vacation package.
