NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE’S CHILDREN'S
PROGRAM
Norwegian Cruise Lines recently expanded their children’s program by
adding a year-round program for children 2-5. Norwegian's Kid’s Crew
program includes a t-shirt and a complimentary chef’s hat. All children must
be at least 2 years old to participate in the program and parents must fully
complete a registration form before drop-off.
NORWEGIAN'S SIGN-OUT POLICY-All children under the age of 13
must be signed in and out by a parent or guardian over the age of 21.
Norwegian’s open-door policy has been replaced by this new policy.
AFTER HOURS/SLUMBER PARTY:
In addition to regularly scheduled hours on days at sea (9 a.m.-noon, 2-4:30
p.m and 7:30-10 p.m.), NCL’s “Kid’s Crew” is available on the first evening
from 8-10 p.m. as well as on port days from 3-5 p.m. and 7:30-10:00 p.m.
Babysitting is available every evening from 10 p.m.-1 a.m. and during port
time from 9:00 a.m.-5 p.m. The charge for babysitting is $5.00 per child, per
hour, charge for an additional sibling is $3.00 per hour. Parents must sign
up by 12 p.m. for night babysitting and by 5 p.m. the day before for port
babysitting.
MEDICATION: Staff of Kids Crew cannot dispense medication.
LUNCH HOURS: Kids Crew is closed between the hours 12 p.m. and 2 p.
m. every sea day. On port days children who are signed in may eat with the
staff.
DINNER HOURS: Kids Crew offers dinner every night, except for the first
and last day of the cruise.
FIRST NIGHT: Don’t miss the Kid’s Crew orientation meeting, family
welcome aboard party and registration.
SAMPLE ACTITIVIES FOR JUNIOR SAILORS AGES 2-5 YEAR OLDS: “Un-
birthday” parties with birthday cake, songs, and games, pirate parades, face
painting, undersea adventure, story-telling, t-shirt painting, arts and crafts,
magic shows, Circus at Sea.
SAMPLE ACTIVITIES FOR FIRST MATES AGES 6-9 YEAR OLDS: Secret
Agent night, Harry Potter night, Cruise-themed journals, wacky cooking
classes, t-shirt painting, sing-alongs, poolside root-beer float parties.
SAMPLE ACTIVITIES FOR NAVIGATORS AGES 10-12 YEAR OLDS: Ice
Cream Party, Basketball Tournament, Cranium Challenge, Movie Night,
Playstation Tournamant, Karaoke, Simpsons Trivia, Talent Show, Tween
Disco, Pajamarama F, Scavenger Hunts, Farewell Party.
TEEN FUN AGES 13-15 YEARS OLD: Pool parties, teen hot-tub party,
karaoke, disco parties, trivia contests, line dancing and special themed
parties.
