Every weekend, the Grand Ole Opry takes the excitement of a live
audience, the heritage of the world’s longest-running radio show
and an incredible mix of talent to the world, broadcasting live over
650 WSM AM and the Opry website. Never knowing which artist
might make a surprise appearance, it’s where country rocks,
bluegrass rules and Western swings. Summer is highlighted by
free Opry Plaza Parties on weekend show nights. Admission: varies,

Grand Ole Opry Museum

The Grand Ole Opry Museum pays tribute to the world’s longest-
running radio show and its legendary stars with exhibits honoring
Patsy Cline, Marty Robbins, Tex Ritter, Roy Acuff, Minnie Pearl, Little
Jimmy Dickens and Jim Reeves. Exhibits featuring today’s chart-
topping artists are also on display exploring the careers of
performers like Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire and Travis Tritt.
Admission: free. Hours: open daily at 10 am; closing times vary.
Closed January - February. Minimum time allowance: 30 minutes.

Located in the Opry Plaza, the story of how the Grand Ole Opry
became the cornerstone of country music is told in this high-tech,
state-of-the-art museum that pays tribute to the world's longest-
running show. The story of the legendary Opry members, such as
Roy Acuff and Minnie Pearl, who made the Opry famous, is told
through a series of electronic displays, interactive video devices that
invite visitors to become involved in the exhibits, and sets worthy of a
Hollywood movie sound stage.

Nashville Zoo is uniquely integrated into a pristine wooded property.
From the beginning, guests are immersed into the zoo’s beautiful
exhibits. Macaws bask in dappled sunlight with waterfalls nearby
setting the mood. Further in, boisterous apes welcome guests from
two beautifully landscaped islands. Here guests find gifts,
refreshments and a giant playground. But there is so much more:
meerkats, cheetah, otters, tigers and more reside along a wooded
path; Bamboo Trail offers leopards, red pandas and more shrouded
in a dense forest of bamboo; Critter Encounters presents
memorable experiences with some friendly creatures; and the

Take a seat at one of several animal shows or relax at the Zoo’s
Historic Farm complete with a home built in 1810. There’s so much

The Parthenon

The world’s only full-scale reproduction of the famous Greek temple,
Nashville’s Parthenon stands in Centennial Park and features both
the city’s art museum and Athena Parthenos. At almost 42 feet in
height, Athena Parthenos is the tallest indoor sculpture in the
