HILTON HAWAIIAN VILLAGE
Located oceanfront on the widest stretch of famous Waikiki Beach
on Oahu, this 22-acre resort contains everything you need without
having to once step off the property. Hilton Hawaiian Village offers an
amazing 22 restaurants and lounges and over 90 shops. The huge
property is landscaped with lush tropical gardens, waterfalls, sweet
smelling flowers, and priceless artwork depicting traditional
Hawaiian life. The luxury resort is also a miniature zoo with a South
African penguin exhibit, Japanese Koi ponds, 60 varieties of exotic
birds, and free-roaming swans.
WAIKIKI BEACH HOTELS
Directly in front of the resort is a wide sandy beach and a protected
lagoon. Paddle-boats, fishing gear, snorkels, and other water-sports
equipment can be rented for a small fee.
The resort offers a selection of six daily activities that range from lei
making and hula lessons to aquacise and aerobics. For those of you
who prefer to be pampered, there’s the world renowned Mandara Spa
and Holistic Hawaii Preventive Medicine.
SPECIAL EVENTS AT HILTON HAWAIIAN
VILLAGE
Every Friday evening, the resort’s Super Pool becomes the stage for a
free King’s Jubilee celebration, complete with a parade, hula
dancers, fire eaters, musicians and a magnificent fireworks display
over Waikiki Beach. If at all possible, plan your visit around this
special event.
Children can join the procession to the Super Pool carrying colorful
flags, then all children are seated together and receive a
complimentary picture with the King and his attendants. Sign up and
meet at the Social Director's desk in the Main Lobby.
HILTON HAWAIIAN RESORT ACTIVITIES
The Hawaiian Hilton Village boasts Waikiki’s largest pool, a 10,000
sq.foot, two-tiered super pool surrounded by lava rock and tropical
plants. One end of the pool is a zero depth entrance, perfect for
smaller children. Four smaller pools are located around the resort at
the Ali'i Tower, Kalia Tower and Lagoon Tower . Note: if you plan on
spending the day around the Super Pool, get their early to grab a
lounge chair because they fill up fast.
ROOMS:
The resort has six towers, my personal favorite being the Rainbow
Tower closest to Waikiki Beach. All standard rooms feature views of
either the Village Garden, Mountain, Partial Ocean View, or Ocean
View. Maid Service is daily, with turn down service available. All rooms
have tub/shower, sink with mini bar or second sink. Other amenities
include Servibars, coffee machines, safes and am/fm radio/clock.
Televisions are 19 inch color with OnCommand Video, and guest
services including account management. The ocean-view rooms with
Diamond Head in the distance are well worth the extra money.
The suites include all of the amenities and services of our standard
rooms, with extra room. The new Kalia Tower Executive Floors offer
Kalia Tower check-in, private access, and Executive level lounge with
daily continental breakfast and evening Hors D'oeuvers.
