HEAVENLY SKI RESORT

Bright sunny days - tons of incredible snow - sweeping majestic vistas
- powder-filled bowls.  steep double-black diamonds - miles of
corduroy cruisers - chutes, bowls, bumps, trees - all waiting for you at
a place called Heavenly! The views are so beautiful overlooking the
south shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe, there is no other ski resort quite
like Heavenly in the world. Very few resorts match the scenic beauty
found here in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range at Monument Peak -
a mountain so large, it stretches
across the line between California and Nevada. Heavenly ski resort is
located directly above the towns of South Lake Tahoe (California) and
Stateline (Nevada) on the southern edge of Lake Tahoe.

Heavenly Ski Resort is 55 miles from Reno, Nevada via Highway 50.
Heavenly offers an expansive network of lifts, terrain, trails and
snowmaking. Heavenly currently has one of America's largest
snowmaking systems. Extensive investments for new grooming
machines & upgraded snowmaking systems continue
to improve your ride.

The weather in Heavenly is just perfect for snow skiing and other snow
sports. Each year 360 inches of snow and 300 days of sun are
expected. That's 30 feet! In fact, Heavenly gets more average annual
snowfall than Colorado or Utah. Heavenly grooms up to 70% of its
runs nightly, and has the snowmaking muscle to cover 67% of the
runs, making another 120 inches of snow per season.  Heavenly is
one of North America’s largest ski areas offering 4,800
acres of true skiing and riding, 27 lifts and 82 runs. With a base
elevation of 6,450 feet and a summit of 10,040 feet, Heavenly's vertical
drop of 3,590 feet offers a mountain descent of 5.5 miles! You're
guaranteed to find a challenge, whatever your skill level. One-third of
the mountain puts expert terrain under your skis, while the other two-
thirds are dedicated to beginners and intermediates.

Adventure Peak is located at the top of the Gondola at Heavenly. The
2.4-mile ride up the mountainside in the Gondola is one trip you'll
never forget. Huge vertical, staggering views and slightly tamer terrain
combine to make Heavenly a more popular intermediate choice than
nearby Squaw Valley, Kirkwood and Alpine Meadows. But with a
10,100 top elevation (the highest in the Tahoe region) and almost
5,000 skiable acres at your service, you will
find plenty of terrain to choose from, regardless of your skill level.

The park is complete with snow tubing, sledding, cross-country skiing
and snowshoeing! The lift-accessed tubing hill provides snow
enthusiasts with hours of fun and with acres of wide-open terrain,
everyone in the family will enjoy snowplay and sledding. The park also
offers 4k of cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. There's plenty of
fun-filled opportunities for children of all ages at Heavenly's Adventure
Peak.

Adventure Peak Hours: 10:00 - 3:00, seven days a week.

Snowboarding at Heavenly Ski Resort
It's no secret that Heavenly is one of the best carving and free-riding
mountains in the country. Local snowboarders consider Heavenly to
be the ultimate mountain -- a perfect place to learn or to
sharpen your riding skills. At Heavenly, the entire mountain is open to
snowboarders and there are parks and halfpipes just for riders on
both sides of the mountain. Heavenly snowboard pros can show you
the cool tree runs, the hidden powder stashes, where to hit virgin
corduroy and how to hang out in the parks and pipes.

Heavenly opened to snowboarding in 1988. Since learn-to-ride
lessons began in 1990, Heavenly has taught more then 60,000
people to ride. During the 1997-98 season, snowboarders accounted
for 20% of Heavenly's visitors.

What's New at Heavenly for 2003-2004

$15 Million Investment in Improvements including this summer,
Heavenly will have invested  nearly $15 million in mountain
improvements over  the past two years. With so many improvements,
it's  no wonder Heavenly was recently named among  the top 15 ski
resorts in SKI Magazine's "Top 60 Resort Guide." According to the
October 2003 issue of SKI magazine, Heavenly landed the #13 spot,
moving up four spots from last year.

Four New Lifts, Including New High-Speed Quad Over the summer,
Heavenly installed four new lifts,  including a new high-speed quad to
replace Canyon  and Ridge chairs. The new express lift will cut the
ride-time nearly in half from what it was on the old Canyon Chair. The
best part…the new speeding bullet will provide high-speed access to
their advanced terrain park on the Upper California side of the
mountain. Other terrain park locations include an intermediate park on
Cascade and a beginner's park on Groove.

New Beginners' Park and Ski School Sales & Adventure Center
Heavenly Ski Resort
has taken the beginner's experience to
new heights, beginning with a new 15-acre beginner's park at the top
of the gondola. It all starts at the new Ski School Sales & Adventure
Center in the heart of the Heavenly Village. The state-of-the-art center
provides one-stop shopping for adults and children ski school
lessons with its fully computerized registration system and full line-up
of ski and snowboard rental gear. The new sales center will offer adult
and children's clinics for groups and privates.
Next, beginners will be whisked from village to mountain via the
Gondola. Once at the top, guests will be escorted to the private
learning area located in a secluded meadow near the gondola. The
15-acre parcel offers ideal learning terrain and three new lifts
including a comfortable, slow-moving fixed-grip quad, a mitey mite and
a magic carpet. The area is dedicated solely to beginners and
provides a true ski experience without other intimidating, more
advanced riders whizzing by.

New Outdoor Eatery at Top of the Gondola
Heavenly has added a new outdoor, barbecue eatery, Adventure Peak
Grill, to the top of the gondola. They've also given a face-lift to the East
Peak Lodge and the Monument Peak Restaurant.

Aerial Tram
The Heavenly Aerial Tram is a great way to catch "ski fever." You'll glide
up an awe-inspiring mile-long flight into the sky where you'll see the
jewel-like waters of Lake Tahoe, the majestic and snowcapped peaks
of the Sierra Nevada, and panoramic views
that seem to stretch to infinity.

Snowboard Parks
Two snowboarding parks and nine monstrous halfpipes that were
designed, built and tested by the Heavenly Snowboard Team. Both
sides of the mountain now have a terrain park and a halfpipe
positioned near lifts for easy access with complete snowboard service
stations located nearby. Sick hits and air, wicked little hips and
wedges, and more snowboard activities and events this season.

Ski Instruction and Equipment Rentals
The Heavenly Ski School is internationally known for its talented
professional staff and technical expertise for any ski level. Learn to ski
or develop some new techniques by participating in exciting
programs such as private and group lessons, specialty clinics,
adventure packages and Guided Demo -- all designed to show you a
fantastic time! Heavenly rents virtually every type of ski or board
you may want to try.

Mountain Lodges and Restaurants
Heavenly now has three base lodges and five on-mountain facilities
that offer skiers and snowboarders easy and convenient access to a
variety of dining options.
