GAYLORD OPRYLAND RESORT CHILDREN’S PROGRAM
For Infants and Toddlers 6 months –3 years
Drop-in services for children under three are provided at La Petite
Academy where the experienced teachers and staff are expert at
engaging children in fun activities to help them grow and learn.
IMPORTANT NOTE: As an accredited childcare provider, they do require
shot records for all children staying with them. Please bring a copy with
you or fax it ahead of time.

If your child is currently enrolled in a La Petite Academy program, you’ll
be happy to know they participate in the “Passport Program” designed to
make traveling with children easier. Simply contact the academy director
of the La Petite location in which your child is regularly enrolled, and let
them know your child will be visiting the Gaylord La Petite location. The
director will then forward on all medical and authorization forms, all you
have to do is give them a call the day before to confirm. The Gaylord
Opryland Resort will not charge you a dime; you will just pay the normal
tuition rate at your home Academy for your “Passport” days.
La Petite Academy hours are:
Monday - Saturday 5:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Sunday 5:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
For Children 3–12 years
La Petite Academy Kids Station is a drop-in childcare “resort within a
resort,” where kids ages three to twelve years old can stay for an hour or
play for a day. Your children will be entertained for hours as they explore
the 2,500-square-foot Kids Station where they can happily play, learn,
discover, create, share or just chill out to their little heart’s content.
Reservations are required. Hours based on availability and demand.

GAYLORD OPRYLAND RESORT RESTAURANTS
From fancy gourmet dining to casual down-home meals, you’ll find a
myriad of restaurants and lounges to suit your palate.

Old Hickory Steakhouse
True Southern elegance at its finest. The 20,000 square-foot, antebellum-
style mansion, The Old Hickory Steakhouse features center-of-the-plate
prime USDA steaks, including the grilled filet of beef and the New York
Angus Strip. Located in the Delta area.

Cascades Seafood Restaurant
The Cascades Seafood Restaurant is surrounded by spectacular
waterfalls and lush gardens. Enjoy their monthly Seafood Fresh Catch
Features, Australian Lobster Tails or Tempura Battered Tiger Shrimp!

Ristorante Volare
Located in the romantic Garden Conservatory Atrium, Ristorante Volare
features an authentic Italian menu, including traditional soups, freshly
made pasta and fine Italian wines. Stop in for Veal Marsala Scallopini,
Parmesan Crusted Swordfish, Chicken Fettuccine and a variety of other
fresh pasta and Italian favorites. Don’t miss their signature dessert,
Tiramisu. Their Sunday brunch, voted the Best Brunch in Nashville,
features Apple-filled Pancakes, Cheese Blintzes, a Chef's Carving
Station, and a variety of pasta and flavorful vegetables.

Rachel's
Rachel's is a delightful spot to enjoy any meal of the day. Located
adjacent to the Magnolia Lobby, the restaurant features a grand buffet.
For breakfast, wake up to a vast selection of bakeries, eggs made to
order, sizzling meats and more. A deli station is the popular station
during lunch, which also offers Chef's daily lunch creations. The grand
buffet at dinner features carved meats, pastas, a variety of salads and
desserts!

Findley's Irish Pub
This Victorian-style Irish Pub features nightly entertainment and a menu
offering delicious Irish staples such as fish-n-chips, corned beef and
Yorkshire pudding, as well as a fine selection of drafts that includes
Harp, GUINNESS® Extra Stout, Bass Pale Ale, Boddington's Ale and
Hard Core Cider. Located in the Magnolia section.

SHOPPING AT GAYLORD OPRYLAND RESORT
The shops at Gaylord Opryland™ Resort & Convention Center Nashville
are open from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. unless otherwise noted. All shops
accept personal checks, traveler's checks, Gaylord Opryland™ gift
certificates, room charge and all major credit cards. Shipping is available
at all retail locations.

DELTA RIVER FLATBOATS
No matter what the weather is like outside, it’s always the perfect
temperature to take a Delta River Flatboat down the scenic indoor river.
Step aboard and gently wind your way through our lush 4.5-acre indoor
garden while a guide offers unique facts about the Delta's plants and
fish. You’ll also see and learn about the hotel's Delta Island that features
an 85-foot fountain, three waterfalls, and numerous shops and
restaurants. If you’re lucky, you may catch a glimpse of Danny, the 80 lb.
Catfish, in the Delta River. The fleet of five Mississippi-style flatboats
carries 25 passengers each on leisurely trips of about 15 minutes.
Rides run daily and can be booked in advance.

RESORT FEE
Effective November 1, in addition to the room rate, a resort fee of $5 plus
tax per day, per room will be charged, which includes high speed Internet
access in room, access to Cyber Café, local calls up to 20 minutes ($.
10/minute thereafter), toll-free calls up to 20 minutes ($.10/minute
thereafter), daily newspaper delivery (USA Today M-F / Tennessean Sat-
Sun) and scheduled complex shuttle transportation.

Heart of Country Antiques Show
The Heart of Country Antiques Show at the Gaylord Opryland™ Resort in
Nashville, Tennessee, continues its rich tradition of an event-packed Fall
antique extravaganza on October 27, 28, 29, 30 where American style,
design and heritage take center stage. Collectors from every state in the
Union come to shop at this nationally acclaimed show with over 150
outstanding antique dealers from all across the country who will
exhibiting some 300 years of Americana.

Opryland’s A Country Christmas® presented by Cracker Barrel Old
Country Store® is an annual tradition for many families. You’ll find

Music City Holiday Spectacular
You won't want to miss the debut of the magical and musical
extravaganza of Gaylord Opryland's all-new holiday production, Music City
Holiday Spectacular. A unique presentation of the Christmas season's
most-adored songs, holiday scenes and spectacular theatrics. Don't

TRANSPORTATION
The
Gaylord Opryland Resort runs a complimentary shuttle to and from
Gaylord Opryland Attractions including the Grand Ole Opry®, the General
Jackson Showboat®, Opry MillsSM and the Springhouse Golf Club®.
They also have shuttle transportation available from the Nashville
International Airport from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. unless your group arranges
otherwise. The fare is $13 one way, $20 round trip per person, about half
the cost of a taxi.
