in 1971, Shawnee Airlines began regular passenger
service from Orlando's McCoy Air Force Base(now
Orlando International Airport) directly to Disney World's
STOLport (Short Take Off and Landing) on a daily
basis, with flights lasting only a few minutes. After Walt
Disney's death, the title "Walt Disney World" was
chosen by Walt's brother and business partner, Roy O.

Parks

In addition to the four main theme parks, the resort
contains two water parks, six golf courses, a sports
complex, an auto race track, twenty resort hotels and
numerous shopping, dining, and entertainment
offerings. Make all your dreams come true in four
uniquely themed parks, each with its own special
version of Disney magic. There's also touring tips, park
hours, rehab dates, and details of the minor parks. If
you're staying at a Disney property and driving to the
theme parks, Disney will waive the $10-a-day parking
fee. Disney's practice of surprising people at the parks
with fantasy adventures is what makes every guest to
the Orlando theme park feel like a VIP. It's worth
pointing out that much of the signage and lettering you
see at the Disney theme parks is custom designed
and not based on any existing fonts, particularly when it
comes to major logos and attraction marquees. Disney
will designate specific outdoor areas in each of its
hotels for smokers, as it currently does in the theme
parks.
