NAVY PIER
Located on Lake Michigan, just East of Chicago's Downtown, Navy Pier
has been a Chicago landmark since it first opened in 1916. It now
showcases a unique collection of restaurants, shops and plenty of
entertainment. At Navy Pier you'll find the Chicago Children's Museum,
an IMAX theater, Crystal Gardens (an indoor botanical park), the
Chicago Shakespeare Theater and Smith Museum of Stained Glass
Windows.
For outdoor fun, Navy Pier has a permanent 150-foot-high Ferris wheel,
a musical carousel, an old-fashioned swing ride, an 18-hole miniature
golf course and the Skyline Stage outdoor performance pavilion

Lincoln Park is one of the last free zoos in the country. Visit the new
Regenstein African Journey exhibit featuring elephants, giraffes, rhinos,
wild dogs, hissing cockroaches and other native African wildlife. Feed a
cow or meet the goats at the newly renovated Farm-in-the-Zoo
presented by John Deere. Shop on the wild side at our retail store, Wild
Things! And enjoy a magical journey on the Ameritech Endangered
Species Carousel. Minutes from Downtown at Lake Shore Dr. and
Fullerton Pkwy. Paid parking is available on Cannon Dr., $12. The zoo is
directly accessible via the 151 CTA bus line. Open 9am to 5pm.

Discover Sue, the largest and most complete T. rex ever found! At The
Field Museum, you can get a bug's-eye view in Underground Adventure,
descend into an Egyptian tomb, watch a glowing lava flow, be dazzled
by sparkling gems, come nose-to-nose with the man-eating lions of
Tsavo, and learn about the worlds cultures and environments. Daily
9am-5pm. Adults $12, students & seniors $7, children (4-11) $7. Some
exhibits require additional ticket.

The world's largest indoor aquarium offers more than 19,000 aquatic
animals from around the world. Labor Day-Memorial 9am-5pm;
Memorial Day-Labor Day, weekends and holiday 9am-6pm. See all
Shedd has to offer with the All Access Pass, which includes the original
aquarium building, Wild Reef, Amazon Rising and the Oceanarium.
Open 9am-5pm weekdays, 9am-6pm weekends, Summer weekdays

museum in the Western Hemisphere! Visit the Chicago Museum of
Science and Industry and experience 14 acres of hands-on fun and
learning. Located at 57th St. and Lake Shore Dr., just minutes from
downtown Chicago, the Museum is open every day of the year except
Christmas Day, Mon.-Sat. 9:30am-4pm.; Sun. 11-4. Parking available.

the second-oldest ballpark in the major leagues. The ivy-lined outfield
walls, historic man-operated scoreboard and the bleacher bums
